Royal Oak await first win but still gain league points

League newcomers Royal Oak East Bergholt have now gone 6 Orwell Division matches without being on the winning side but Tuesday nights result was probably as good as a win.

Visiting team Hollesley Shepherd & Dog (last years Silver Medalists and this seasons Orwell league leaders) paid a visit to the Royal Oak, with a record of played 4, won 4, in a match that was re-arranged from a previously postponed date.

Obviously home advantage is a major factor, as whilst Hollesley have never lost at home in 2 years, the Oak have yet to lose themselves at home this season and put a dent in Hollesleys championship march with a very very respectable 2-2 draw.

This was the Oaks fourth draw of the year and sees them just off the foot of the table with some results yet to be received.
