In a top-of-the table clash on Sunday, local rivals but good friends, the Bell Inn Walberswick entertained the Harbour Inn Southwold, in their Blyth Division match-up.
Both sides were occupying the top two spots in the division, with The Bell holding a 100% record so far this year and had already won 3-1 at Southwold earlier in the season.
Despite only just less than half of the league programme left, a significant result was obtained by Walberswick with another 3-1 triumph, putting them 3 points clear in pole position and with matches in hand over their nearest opponents in the table.
