Half Term Report....Orwell Division

Last years league silver medalists, Hollesley Shepherd & Dog, lead the way in the Orwell Division, with four wins and one draw from their five matches so far, and therefore have accumulated 9 league points to date.

New-boys Ipswich PC '09 have had a good first half of the season, and other than losing 3-1 to Hollesley early in the season, they have won their other four matches all by 4-0 scorelines to be just a single point behind Hollesley. The big match-up will be on 2nd August when these two teams meet for the second time this season and this perhaps will determine the likely divisional champion in this group.

There is a three point gap between 2nd and 3rd places and Ye Olde Coach & Horses currently hold that position, on 5 league points, with new teams Deben Vikings and Royal Oak East Bergholt jostling for position, with 4 league points apiece.

Bring up the rear but soon to be proud owners of the leagues newest piste are the Rushmere Rugby Rollers, who have had minor successes so far without picking up as many league points as they deserve. Currently every opponents favourite venue for the apre-boules refreshments!!
