Half Term Report....Deben Division

The tightest of all groups, the Deben Division sees teams changing positions on the basis of every result that comes in.

Suivre Les Boules Playford, flushed with the success of their latest 3-1 away win at Pettistree Greyhound, moved level on points (6) with The Exiles Bealings, who were unbeaten until the rapidly improving Golden Key Snape beat them recently.

The Playford team therefore leapfrogged both Aldeburgh Boules Club and the Snape team in the process but its the Aldeburgh team that are the only team so far to have beaten the Suivre team. Aldeburgh themselves suffered their usual 'hoodoo' with the Bealings side beating them by 3-1 in a recent evening fixture.

All eyes will now be cast on the Playford v Bealings match, which is due to be played on Sunday 19th July, with the Aldeburgh & Snape teams hoping for a draw between the two evenly-matched sides.

The Pettistree Greyhound are still looking for their first league points and the next scheduled match they have is away at Bealings in early August.
