Whilst I am quite happy to post 'blogs' on the site, I'm not sure if you are all aware you can comment back.
At the bottom right hand corner of every news article there is a 'speech bubble' with the word Comments alongside. If you click on this, you can then respond or add to each article as the website grows.
Have a go with this one, then I'll know the message is coming through loud and clear.

OK You asked for it - we are a family of Petanque players recently moved into the area and looking for somewhere to play. It seems that Melton is the closest venue (and we may be able to help with the results :-)). What nights/days do the club meet? If we don't hear back from anyone we will just turn up at the Pub and ask.
