Adnams Coastal Petanque League versus Nottingham City PC - Saturday 18th June

Seventeen League players, including 3 juniors, travelled to Sherwood on Saturday to take part in a Challenge Match versus our hosts, the Nottingham City Petanque Club.

Playing as pairs on just 8 of their 30+ pistes, four rounds of matches were played. Everything was so evenly matched between the two teams, that the final match score was a 16-16 draw, with Nottingham just shading it on points 315-295.

We had 4 of our teams achieving 3 wins from 4, including Kira, but overall Lewis Fletcher & Seb Rios-Hall were our best pair on the day.

Some great new friends were made and Simon made the offer, on behalf of Suffolk, for our Mercia friends to come to Suffolk next season.

Please visit our Facebook page to see photos of the day and the presentations at the end of the day.
