New Piste Anyone? - Recommended Contractor

For any of you who can, rather than playing on a section of gravelled car park or such like, persuade your landlord or Parish Council etc to fork out for a purpose-made piste, here is the contact details of our current recommended Contractor who has so far been responsible for the pistes built at Playford, Bealings and most recently Woodbridge.

Mr P A Moyse, Wilford Rise, Bromeswell, Woodbridge, IP12 3DL
Telephone : 01394 387821

Mr Moyse is VAT Registered and any negotiations that you may have with Mr Moyse direct are not something the League can get involved in.

Accelerating Interest

Despite the Xmas period being upon us, we have established many new contacts over the last three weeks, which will ensure that not only will our 2010 season be the biggest so far, but also will be the most varied, with a considerable influx of new players and interesting venues.

This has mainly come about from careful 'mailshot' marketting and newsletter article placement, covering as much of the Suffolk Coastal area as possible.

Many thanks to existing members who have 'tipped us off' on various locations, which are coming to fruition and should be ready for the start of the new league programme.

Woodbridge Town Petanque Club - Update

Having put out a request for interested persons in the Woodbridge area to come forward and form the Woodbridge Town Petanque Club, in readiness for the forthcoming 2010 season, we are pleased to report that only 3 places remain out of the original 8 and these will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

If you are at all interested, please get in touch.
